Fresh finds for October

Blenko by Wayne Husted and Joel Myers, Finnish and Swedish studio glass, and a Cathrineholm classic — a few of this month's new listings.

October has been a big month for glass. A few highlights that just went up in the shop:

Blenko, three eras

The Blenko 544 pitcher is a Wayne Husted design in deep turquoise, and the 609 vase is another Husted shape from 1960. From the next era, Joel Myers' 656M pitcher comes in that unmistakable 1965 tangerine. And if you have the floor space, the 1970s 7048 floor vase is a showstopper.

Nordic glass

A lilac Oiva Toikka 1483 vase from Nuutajärvi, and a pair of 11-inch Kosta Boda Filippa candlesticks by Kjell Engman.

For the kitchen

A blue-and-white Cathrineholm Lotus casserole from 1960s Norway, and a teak Dansk carving board by Jens Quistgaard.
